Privacy Policy — FuelLog
Last updated: [DATE]
FuelLog ("we", "our", "the app") helps you track fuel fill-ups and mileage
for your vehicles. This page explains what information the app collects,
why, and how it's handled.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, used to sign you in and identify your account.
- Profile details (all optional): first and last name, date of birth, and mobile number, if you choose to add them. Date of birth is used only to confirm you're 18 or older, as required to use the app.
- Vehicle and fill-up data you enter: vehicle details (name, type, fuel type, claimed mileage), and fill-up records (date, odometer reading, fuel amount, price, fuel station, and optional notes).
- Fuel bill photos (optional): if you choose to attach a receipt photo to a fill-up, it's stored securely and only accessible to your account.
- Subscription status: whether you're on a free or paid plan, used to determine whether ads are shown.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to anyone.
- We don't share your vehicle or fill-up data with other users — every account only ever sees its own data, enforced at the database level.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored using Supabase (a third-party database and authentication
provider). Photos, if you add any, are stored in Supabase Storage under a
private, per-account folder.
Advertising
[EDIT: If/when ads are shown, describe here which ad network is used
(e.g. Google AdSense on the web version, Google AdMob in the mobile app),
and link to that network's own privacy policy — e.g. Google's at
https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Ad networks may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads;
disclose that here once applicable.]
Your choices
You can edit or delete any vehicle or fill-up you've logged at any time
from within the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us using the
